The historic charm of the Lord Milner is captivating, and the comfortable accommodation adds to the allure. Dining is a highlight, but the breakfast left something to be desired. The hotel's antique feel enhanced the overall experience, despite the somewhat limited parking.

Didn't like anything, except upgrade to honeymoon suite!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic spot. Our family loved the spacious room, the tasty dinner, and the chance to have a fun historical tour on the old red bus, which had our kids giggling all the way.

My children wished the bar stayed open longer.

Guests can enjoy a delightful dinner and an excellent breakfast, while the friendly staff contribute to a warm atmosphere.

Charming hotel, delightful dining, has a cozy bar/lounge area where we enjoyed a pleasant drink before dinner while soaking in the historical ambiance of the place.

Everything went smoothly.

I stayed in the Superior Double Room and it was really comfy. The bed was so cozy, and the room itself was clean and spacious with charming period décor. The modern bathroom was a nice touch, and there was plenty of hot water. Just a bit noisy with the creaky floors from the old house vibe, but it added to the charm. a lovely room for a weekend getaway.

A charming step back in time

I really enjoyed my stay in the historic hotel, where the uniqueness and charm transported me back in time. Room 11 was spacious, with a lovely balcony, and equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning. The dinner was delicious, with the highlight being Oom Johnnie’s entertaining piano performance in the bar. On a side note, it would be great if repairs could be made to some areas that are showing signs of wear.

Had a fantastic time with friends! The historical tour in an old red double-decker bus was such a fun experience, and mountain biking offered stunning views of the Witteberg Mountains. There's so much to do, tennis, cricket, or just chilling under the stars. The staff were accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
